• 2) Create a graph of the plateau data and the singles rate for the test counter
• 3) Indicate a good operating voltage for the counter and explain your choice
• 4) Create a graph of the cosmic ray rates measured with your setup (either or both two-fold or 3-fold coincidences). Plot each rate measured for each time period grouping them by length of time (ie 10 second together, 20 second, 60 second, etc).
• 5) What do you notice about these data - what is the "real" answer? If you combine all the data into a single point (total counts/divided by total time) what do you get?
• 6) We will compare answers from each group - take a peek beforehand.
• 7) Briefly describe what you did to alter the "efficiency" and the result you obtained - a plot would be helpful!
