Cloud Chamber and Scintillator in Tandem

How about a cloud chamber, with a marked grid on the bottom and a camera on top to capture images of the ionization trails, mounted atop the scintillinators in an array. The chamber would be used to calculate the type of particle coming in and the amount of energy it has, and the scintillinators could show the size of the shower. Working in tandem they could show the correlation between size of a shower and the type of particles and energies that come down.
