  1. Sound Card Oscilloscope (free for educational institutions - no commercial use) - The Soundcard Oscilloscope receives its data from the Soundcard with 44.1kHz and 16 Bit resolution. The data source can be selected in the Windows mixer (Microphone, Line-In or Wave). The frequency range depends on the sound card, but 20-20000Hz should be possible with all modern cards. www.zeitnitz.de/Christian/Scope/Scope_en.html
  2. Spectrum Labs - Spectrum Lab is a software written by Wolfgang "Wolf" Buescher and it is a Spectrum Analyzer with Waterfall Display and real-time audio processing. It is a very nice software and very useful if you want to detect meteors, lightning and so on. You can download it free of charge from here: http://people.freenet.de/dl4yhf/spectra1.html
  3. Talk PCR - An alternative PCR1000 control interface. It is no longer under development mostly because the PCR 1000 has been discontinued. http://www.mahy.demon.co.uk/talkpcr/talkpcr.htm
