MARIACHI Teaching Lab available for Class Field Trips
The MARIACHI Teaching Lab located in the former control room of the Stony Brook Nuclear Structure Laboratory, is available to host classes from middle school through high school. Programs can be tailored to the interests of teachers and students. Visits can be mornings (10:00 - 12:00), afternoons (1:00 - 3:30), or full days (10:00 - 3:30 including lunch). Visits can include introductory presentations, demonstrations, tours of the facility, and hands-on activities. Groups of up to 24 can be accommodated. Contact Mr. Richard Lefferts to arrange a visit at 631-632-8169.
Participating MARIACHI schools are particularly encouraged to arrange visits.
