Fall 2006 Session

PHY579, Special Topics for Physics Teachers is a class for physics teachers. This course is a hands on course on modern physics. Projects are proposed at the begning of each semester and followed up as a group activity. This semester the group is working on a electronically cooled cloud chamber with magnetic field. If time permits we will caryy out a Brownian Motion experiment with different temperatures. Our class pet is a Rock, The PHY579 Rock. Why is a rock? well you have to ask people in the class.
