Special Topics for the Physics Teacher

About PHY579

PHY579, Special Topics for Physics Teachers is a class for Physics Teachers and MAT Students. This course is a hands on course on modern physics. Projects are proposed at the begning of each semester and followed up as a group activity. Each semester has a different flavor and can range from learning how to build experiments to how to analyze data from experiments performed in classrooms. So check every semester for what is available. You can influence what is going to be taught.... so you can email me (takai - at - bnl - dot - gov) and make a suggestion. Keep in mind that Improvisation is the name of the game in this class. If you want to know why The Rock is our symbol, you have to ask students from 2006 Spring Session.
