The Standard Model Card Game

From MariachiWiki

Standard Model Poker

A deck of 52 cards has been created featuring six quarks, six antiquarks, two electrons and two positrons. Each of the quarks comes in four colors (red, blue, green and black). The black card can be treated as any color if needed for a tie breaker.

The game follows the standard rules of 5 card draw. Each player is dealt five cards with the chance to exchange up to 4 cards.

The player with the best hand wins.

Criteria For Ranking Hands

1. Particles created (see below)
2. Overall charge of hand (+3 is max, -3 is min)
3. Creation of colorless particles (black cards can be any color)

Order Of Hands

1. Hydrogen Atom

  a. Hydrogen Atom (up, up, down, electron)
b. Antihydrogen Atom (antiup, antiup, antidown, positron)

2. (Anti)Baryon + Meson (three (anti)quarks + quark/antiquark pair)

3. (Anti)Baryon (three quarks or three antiquarks)

  a. Proton (up, up, down)
b. (Anti)Neutron (up, down, down)
c. Antiproton (antiup, antiup, antidown)
d. Any other three quark or three antiquark combination

4.Pair of Mesons (two quark/antiquark combinations)

5.Meson (one quark and one antiquark)

Other considerations: Electron/Position pair
