Denise Beck is currently a physics teacher at [Northport High School]. She teaches both Regents and Honors levels. She is hoping to teach AP Physics in the near distant future.
She grew up in Rochester, NY. She attended SUNY Geneseo where she worked on the dual majors of Physics and Education. She graduated with her BA in Physics and Education and her Provisional certification to teach in New York State. Upon graduation she moved to Long Island, where she attended Hofstra University and earned her Masters in Science Secondary Education. Just recently she finished all of the necessary work and received her Permanent Certification to teach Physics.
In her free time she enjoys reading books and relaxing in front of the TV.
