Steven Hick is a graduate student here at Stony Brook in the Science Education Program. Steven did his undergraduate work at Stony Brook also, in physics and mathematics. Shown here is Steven at the Science Olympiad this past spring. The event here was a balloon race, and the object of the race was to attach a mass to the balloon so that the balloon would take the most amount of time in the air floating before it hit the ceiling.
